Joomla Content Management System (CMS)

About Joomla

Joomla is an open source Content Management System (CMS) used for building websites ranging from simple informational websites to large multi-catalogue corporate websites. Visit the Official Joomla Website

Joomla employs a templated solution, which means that you can actually buy off-the-shelf Joomla templates or use FREE templates without having to design your website from scratch. Some samples of Joomla templates can be found here: http://www.joomlart.com/

Because of its open architecture, you can easily add additional functionalities by installing extensions. Most of these extensions are free, easy to install and no coding is necessary. Some examples of extensions can be found here: http://extensions.joomla.org/
